User Permissions

MVMCloud Analytics has 4 levels of permissions that regulate user access to system information and reports for each site. When you subscribed to a MVMCloud Analytics plan, you received Administrator permission for the site you indicated in the subscription.

The permissions are as follows:

  1. No access;
  2. View;
  3. Writer;
  4. Administrator.

No access

Users with this permission do not have access to information on the chosen website. It basically serves for the Administrator to suspend a specific user's access to the website.

View

Users with the Administrator permission can create users and assign them the View permission on a given site collection.

Users with the View permission can view all reports in MVMCloud Analytics for the site(s) that the user is configured to 'view'.

The user cannot add other users and sites. They also cannot create, update, or delete any site entities such as Goals, Funnels, Custom Reports , Forms, A/B Tests, Heatmaps and Session Recordings . However, they can view all these reports.

Writer

Users with Administrator permission can create users and assign them Write permission on a given site collection.

Users with the Write permission can view all reports in MVMCloud Analytics for the site(s) that the user is configured to 'write' and can also create, update, and delete site entities such as Goals, Funnels, Custom Reports, Forms, A/B Tests, Heatmaps and Session Recordings .

A user with Write permission is similar to a user with Administrator permission, but cannot edit or delete the site and cannot add new users and give them permission to view the site(s).

Administrator

Superusers can create users and assign them Administrator permission on a given site collection.

Users with Administrator permission can edit site settings (name, URLs, time zone, etc.). Can create, manage and delete entities for the site(s), such as Goals, Funnels, Forms, Tests A/B, Heatmaps and Session recordings, Delete visits using GDPR/LGPD privacy tools, Invalidate reports, etc.

Users with Administrator permission can also create users and grant them View, Write, or Administrator permission on the site(s) where the user has Administrator permission.

With this permission system you can grant your team or clients access to specific websites.
