Triggers
Triggers allow you to define in which event a certain tag should be triggered or blocked. For example, when an element specific item was clicked or when a visitor reached a certain scroll position. Additionally, you can specify a filter to narrow down even more so whether a certain trigger should be activated or not.
A wide variety of different triggers are defined in MVMCloud Analytics, as shown in the image below. These can also be configured individually:
Let's take a look at an example. Imagine that you allow your visitors to comment on your blog and you would like to measure the number of comments you are receiving:
Without a Tag Manager, you would need to add tracking code to your website's source code. With a Tag Manager, the only thing you need to do is indicate that you will trigger your tag when the form is submitted:
