Visitor Profile

Visitor Profile helps you understand your visitors' individual behavior by summarizing and listing your visitors' visits. Through the information displayed in the Visitor Profile, you will be able to better understand:

  • Why your visitors viewed your website;
  • Why your returning visitors continue to view your website;
  • What specific visitors are looking for and whether they found it on your website.

View Visitor Profile

The Visitor Profile can be accessed through the Visit Log (the Visit Log can be accessed by navigating to Visitors > Visit Log). There is a link to the visitor's profile will be displayed:

By clicking on this link the Visitor Profile panel will be displayed.

The next image is an example visitor profile for a real visitor who visited the example.org website. He first visited 26 days ago from referrer.example.org. As shown in the report, the visitor spent a total of 5 minutes and 6 seconds on the website and viewed 18 pages in 18 visits. He didn't convert goals. The page speed report shows that each page it took an average of 1.461s to load for this visitor.

In the top left corner of the pop-up, details of the last visit are displayed. Information displayed on the left includes recent visits:

  • IP address (when enabled);
  • Visitor ID;
  • Browser used to access the website;
  • Screen resolution.

When you hover your mouse over any icon you will see more details about it:

Visitor visit summary

Below the most recent visit details section is a summary of visitor behavior on your site.

This summary is aggregated using a maximum of a visitor's last 100 visits. It can display:

  • The total amount of time the visitor spent on your website;
  • The total number of page views and visits;
  • Total conversions and total conversions for each goal;
  • The total amount of money the visitor spent on your website;
  • The total amount of goods that the visitor abandoned in their cart on your website;
  • And the average time it took your servers to generate a page for the visitor.

The summary contains the date of the visits, along with a summary of the referrer for each visit (if any). If the visitor comes from a search engine and the keywords are known, they will also be displayed.

Note: If there are more than 100 visits for a visitor, 'First Visit' will not refer to the actual first visit, but to the oldest 100th visit.
